Black Moth Tattoo Parlor & Art Gallery
A new fusion of custom body art and curated exhibitions brought to Montgomery County by local artist, Steve Martin. Expect more of the great ideas you have come to know me for. With over 14 years professional experience I cover a range of disciplines in tattooing; from mandala and geometric designs, Japanese, neo-traditional, traditional Americana, fine line, custom lettering, as well as black and grey realism.
Celebrating the 8th year in historic Ardmore, we're turning heads with it’s premier tattoo parlor. I look forward to bringing to you, the art enthusiast and collector, a select presentation of custom tattoo designs as well as some of the most interesting works of art month after month. You can expect the professionalism, mindful customer service, attention to detail, and quality products in a clean and safe setting that you have known from me all these years.
Our Story
Black Moth is settled in the heart of downtown Ardmore, Pennsylvania, a historic shopping center on the Mainline. We are just 25 minutes from Center City and King of Prussia as well as only 30 from our international airport or West Chester, and 45 minutes from Cherry Hill, NJ. With a SEPTA train station just around the corner and abundant parking it is easy and convenient to cruise on in. The town boasts a pleasant setting of sidewalks lined with dinning and shopping galore, as well as happening venues; there are many reasons to pop in and enjoy our little town for a day.
TATTOOS
Stop in Black Moth to schedule an appointment for your next custom tattoo or for that spontaneous addition to your body. I have a tremendous collection of classic designs from the industry’s pioneers as well as the finest modern flash paintings to select from. The studio is open 4 days a week for tattooing and for viewing the rotating gallery shows.
ART EXHIBITS
Don’t only come once for your tattoo, as every month the gallery features a rotation of art work on display and for sale. I curate unique group and solo exhibitions from local artists as well as talents from across the country. At the beginning of the exhibition period we host a reception night for the artists’ and the public is invited to join us for refreshments, to have the first opportunities to purchase favorite works, and interact with the featured artists directly. There are reasons to return to 18 East Lancaster Avenue regularly.
It is going to be a great 8th year and I look forward to working with you and presenting some of outstanding examples of artistry today!
